Yesterday I spent the day in Newport with my mother. We got coffee, put our feet in the water, toured one of the smaller “cottages” and just had a beautiful day. This may be one of the last days I see my old mum for awhile because I am moving to Portland OR on Tuesday! I’m very excited but nervous. I’m glad we live in the times we do where I can see my mother’s face on my computer screen. But yesterday I was glad to just walk hand in hand with her through the surf. A great start to Summer.
